Incorrect branding strings -------------------------- The Intel(R) Gigabit 4P X550/I350 rNDC and Intel(R) Ethernet 10G 4P X550/I350 rNDC may display incorrect branding strings in Windows Device Manager. This issue does not affect the functionality of the device. This issue only affects Microsoft* Windows Server* 2016. Binding errors with uio_pci_generic DPDK drivers on Linux --------------------------------------------------------- Binding the uio_pci_generic drivers to an X710/XL710 device may fail due to a hardware limitation. Use the vfio/vfio-pci module to enable DPDK instead of the uio_pci_generic module to workaround the issue. Incorrect speed support for Intel(R) XL710-based 40GbE Network devices listed in the User Guide -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The User Guide incorrectly states that the Intel(R) Ethernet Converged Network Adapter XL710-Q2 and the Intel(R) Ethernet 40G 2P XL710 QSFP+ rNDC support 10Gbps. These devices only support a link speed of 40Gbps.
