Go to Dell web support site: http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/product/intel-pro-adapters/manuals Known Issues ============ Incorrect branding strings -------------------------- The Intel(R) Gigabit 4P X550/I350 rNDC and Intel(R) Ethernet 10G 4P X550/I350 rNDC may display incorrect branding strings in Windows Device Manager. This issue does not affect the functionality of the device. This issue only affects Microsoft* Windows Server* 2016. Binding errors with uio_pci_generic DPDK drivers on Linux --------------------------------------------------------- Binding the uio_pci_generic drivers to an X710/XL710 device may fail due to a hardware limitation. Use the vfio/vfio-pci module to enable DPDK instead of the uio_pci_generic module to workaround the issue. RHEL 7.3 inbox drivers overwrite the drivers in this package ------------------------------------------------------------ In some situations, the RHEL 7.3 inbox drivers are preferred over the drivers in this package. To get the drivers in this package to load automatically at each boot, change the global module search order as follows: Edit /etc/depmod.d/dist.conf Change the ‘search’ line From: search extra built-in weak-updates To: search extra weak-updates built-in Run: depmod Incorrect speed support for Intel(R) XL710-based 40GbE Network devices listed in the User Guide -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The User Guide incorrectly states that the Intel(R) Ethernet Converged Network Adapter XL710-Q2 and the Intel(R) Ethernet 40G 2P XL710 QSFP+ rNDC support 10Gbps. These devices only support a link speed of 40Gbps.
